Classes

Mom, Dad & Tot Program

Class designed for children ages 18 months - 3 years old (our youngest Future Stars). With the help of their parent and instructor, the child will learn body awareness, coordination, and basic motor skills, while exploring the gym and training aids available. A parent must attend this class.

45-minute class.

Pre-School Program

This class is designed for the 3-4 year old student and teaches locomotor skills, body positions and introduces children to basic gymnastics skills. Games may be played to teach hand-eye coordination and rhythm, along with obstacle courses using specially designed pieces of equipment. Behavioral objectives such as cooperation in working with others, taking turns and listening skills will also be incorporated into this program.

Kindergym Program

An introduction gymnastics class designed for the 4-6 year old gymnast. This program's goal is to follow weekly lesson plans focused around gymnastics safety, flexibility, strength, and confidence building.

1 hour class.

Girls Recreational Program

This program is designed for all gymnasts, 6-12 years old. Students will be grouped by age and skill to ensure proper training. This program will focus on basic gymnastics skills utilizing all equipment. Participation in this program will develop many physical qualities such as strength, endurance, flexibility and coordination. Building confidence and self-esteem through teaching the fundamentals of gymnastics will also be emphasized.

1 hour class.

Boys Program

Designed for active boys ages 4-10. (Older boys' programs are available upon request.) Boys are grouped by ability and age, and focus on strength, endurance, flexibility, and coordination. Discipline and confidence building are also emphasized.

1 hour class.

Advanced Stars Program

This is a non-competitive program, designed for gymnasts ages 8-16. Gymnasts in this program are not experienced enough for USAG competition but still enjoy performing their skills on a more advanced level than the recreational program.

1 hour and 30 minutes.

Acro-Tumbling Program

Structured class designed for girls and boys just interested in learning acrobatics skills.

1 hour class.
